Flask (and other active items) not working

Hello! I often find that my flask and sometimes potions do not activate consistently. I don't know if it's relevant but I notice this most when I take Irelia top lane. It doesn't matter if I click the item, use the hotkey (I move it to slot one) or use my logitech G600 buttons (set as inventory slots 1-6). None of these input options work consistently. I often have to click my flask upwards of ten times before it will consume one charge.
