Abilities won't work

just got out of a game where whenever i clicked using a key on my abilities nothing would happen, this went on for the entire game and resulted in not only our teams loss but also an afking pentalty on me because i stayed in base trying to figure out what was happening, i checked all my settings reset them made sure quick cast was on all that, but every time i clicked, for example the Q key nothing happened, this was same for all my abilities, anyone else having the same problem?
