why does my lobby in league of legends have like 3 ads (advertisements) and when i close them i can still here the sounds they make i dont know why does my lobby have ads its pretty weird i got an avast antivirus to chek in case it as a virus or something but its not i dont know what else to do i tried repairing the game but i didnt work someone please help me out, thank you.
That sounds a bit fishy.
Can you provide a screenshot of these ads?
Avast doesn't always detect when you've picked up adware from somewhere. I have avast as well, and it didn't alert me when adware piggybacked on another software onto my computer.
Malwarebytes is better at picking up the sneakier adwares and trojan horses than Avast is. I'm also an exception to the rule, myself, because I've memorized the various programs on my computer, and if anything looks fishy, I investigate it immediately. A lot of what the various programs do is throw advertisement windows on your other programs and particularly your web browser, along with changing the settings, home page, and new tab page.
Don't forget that Internet Explorer is used for part of the LoL client. If you haven't specifically scanned IE, do so.
