Kalista Sentinel Giving Gold to Support

I don't have a video to show anyone, but I was duoing earlier and, after buying the Relic Shield, then redoing it in favor of the Ancient Coin, every Sentinel marked target I attacked was looted to me rather than to my Kalsita. It worked regardless of whoever procced the damage/last hit and was persistent even after we both died. Has anyone else had a similar bug?
