[CRASH] Spectator Mode still not working since patch 5.??

Spectator Mode hasn't worked for me for awhile now. Every time I try to spectate, whether it be friends or featured games, I end up with an error that says that it could download the game data and that it will exit the game. It also fails to exit after I click "Ok," I always have to end it with Task Manager.
