Ally Banned Your Champion

You're starting a game and one of your teammates bans the champion your selected. He says sorry he didn't see. Game dodged.

This happens way more often than it should. Why isn't there a confirmation message when banning a teammates champion? This might seem like an enhancement but honestly since it ruins games isn't this more of a defect in the usability of the app? Especially since the person who got their champion banned by a teammate has to wait 5 minutes if they dodge. If you're a one-trick it's very frustrating.

I thought there was a pop up message when you go to ban a champ someone else has hovered? At least there's one when you go to pick a champ someone else has hovered, so I don't see why they wouldn't have the same for banning. This is LoL we're talking about though.

Old thread but same problem. Your solution seems more lenient and doable. I would straight up forbid banning of ally champs. Every argument against seems so stupid.

  1. But the champ he wants is broken and is a priority pick. So of all the broken picks in the game you had to ban your ally's champ. And you can't just pick it for your ally. Besides, the enemy team will most likely ban the broken champ if you don't. There will be a small difference. Your ally will be pissed at you if you do it
  2. How can you forbid an ally to ban their teammate's champ? What if he troll picks. Well if he wants to troll pick he will pick another troll champ. You banning his Ashe mid won't do shit. All arguments against Riot removing ally bans at least in low elo boil down to that. Both are stupid.
