Cannot connect to game after champ select [GAME-BREAKING BUG]

Hey all, i cannot connect to the game after champ select ends (the game window never opens). Only button shown in the client is the reconnect button (friends list is also gone). When i click the button the client just re-opens itself instantly and nothing happens.

I've tried the following steps:

Reinstalled
Changed DNS
Restarted
Disabled firewall / sophos (anti-virus)
Auto-repair
Hextech-repair tool
Run as admin

EDIT: Another weird thing: Every time i start LoL the "patch is ready sound" is played even tho nothing is patched and i get a pop-up "Sorry you were removed from the party" even tho i was never in a party.

Pls help i cannot play at the moment and already lost lp to this.

Same thing is happening to me, lost like 50 LP

I fixed the issue. The problem was Sophos, wich deleted a file named "stub.dll". It accidentally labeled it as malware and deleted it at an instant. I've just deactivatet Sophos for now and it works again.

For people having the Sophos issue, this is how you fix it. 1.) Go to search bar, type in Sophos and click the Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 2.) At the top left, click Configure and then hover over Anti-Virus and then click On-Access Scanning 3.) Go to the third tab, Exclusions and click Add. 4.) Change the file type to "Folder" 5.) Depending on where your League of Legends files depends on what you write, but for most type C:\Riot Games\ and click ok. From there, you can click ok again at the bottom of the exclusions tab screen and league should work. Test it out in a custom game first. Good luck peeps
