I logged out of the EU West server because the shop was bugged out and wouldn't load in for me. I try to log back in only to find that I have to wait in the 20,000 person queue, which would be fine, except its cycled me back to the end of the queue about SIX times now. What is the point in waiting in a queue if you're just going to send me back to the end of the line regardless of if I wait the 4 minutes or whatever?

It happened to me after the post match status won't load, so I skipped it and had a bad player go by unreported, np. I click on the hextech crafting panel and it doesn't load either. Logged out just to find out I need to wait in a long line of 20k players.
The client is seriously terrible. It is overloaded uncountable bugs every week and some has been around since its release without any possible fixes. Its insanely incompetent!
Same here. Portugal. EU WEST stuck infinite on login 20 min then goes up to 40 min and 20 000 people to login.

same thing here, went to log in, it was at 300 people in queue, i said fine, waited and when i reached 1st position it just went back to 300, closed the client thinking it was a bug to just find out that now i had to wait 13000, closed again and reopened, now it's over 20000. doesn't metter how long i wait, it jumps back up after a while. EUW servers are so bugged smh
Not only the queue is ridiculously long. But when you ended or started a game in the past half hour it's almost 95% certain that you got stuck in the client that keeps reconnecting you. Just checked the server stats and they're only aware about the login queue issue.

a game this big even free should invest in decent servers, its obvious they make PLENTY from skins wards etc. so saying this you should have the rite to some sort of compensation for lost game time( skins,champs, essence).something to make a player go "ok then, we will let this one slide riot"they just dont care. The amount of times my setup has crashed because of cheap programming, its a joke...

I guarantee you whatever the approximate is will be wrong, whether its predicting sooner or later.
I had to login to PBE multiple times when TFT was hot and it'd predict 20 hours - actually is 4. Predict 3 hours - actually is 6. Predict 24 hours - actually is 12. The estimate on where you are in the queue and how long you have to wait is just going to be wildly wrong.
A big factor involved is that there's a cap of how many they can have logged in and people need to log out to make space, so at the end you'll see your position hit 1 then bounce back to 40. You're actually at 1 or close and ready to login, but there's no space on the server.
Are you kidding...?? Game bugged out right before locking in and now I got penalty and position in queue over 30k..
I've just started playing, but I guess that these problems are common, so it's not worth it.. ''good'' job RIOT.

I accepted queue pop for tft and my client just went blank :) horaay for queue times.
Same thing R know what riot's dev team are doing this week i sufer from high ping , client freeze , unloaded texture if they dev something secret/animations go dev in pbe not on official client and servers
I've to wait 2h42m.... :|
