PC freezes some time after client start [CRASH]

After client start and login my laptop freezes and hangs there for eternity. Manual reboot seems to be the only way out of this and the problem doesn't come up with any other program or game I use. I've tried reinstalling LoL, doesn't help. Step-by-step:

Start up client, click start and login.
Wait a few seconds.
Freeze. This happens every time, for the last two days (ever since patch 5.5 came out) What do I do now? I don't wanna stop playing League! :D

i get the same problem. ever since 5.5 specs: cpu: intel(r) pentium(r) 2127u @1.90 GHZ ram: 8GB (7.88 usable) system type: 64-bit os, x64 based cpu pen and touch: Full windows touch support with 10 touch points gpu: intel(r) hd graphics adapter info: 1 chip type: intel(r) HD graphics family 2 DAC type internal 3 Adapter string intel(r) HD Graphics 4 Bios information: Intel(r) Video bios 5 Total available graphics memory: 1792 MB 6 Dedicated Video Memory: 32 MB 7 System Video Memory: 0 MB 8 Shared System Memory: 1760 MB END OF ADAPTER INFO resoulution: 1366x768 this is a dell PC (inspiron) plz help i really want to play league

My game crashed during a game of ARAM. I think 5.5 is having some crashing/freezing issues.

GUYS i think i found a fix, when you launch the client the game crashes after login, well it doesnt. its just freezing your computer. give it like 10-20 minutes and it will fix itself.

Does this "Fix" happen EVERY time? Edit(more to question): Or do you only have to "Fix" it once?
