Zyra's plants not attacking while in range of enemies

This happens pretty consistently whenever I play Zyra. Enemies are very clearly in range of the plants (sometimes melee range) and they simply will not target anything. I have tried to be close enough to the plants to eliminate the possibility of the plants not attacking when Zyra is far away.
