New update causing bugsplats?

So this started today, after downloading a new update for league (which I have no idea what it's for, but I'm guessing it's what's causing my problem.)

I queued up into a game and loaded in fine, but I noticed my ping was slightly higher than usual. Later on in the game, it went back down. Nothing really wrong there.

However, I click play again, and it brings me back to the home page. Found that a little weird, but whatever. I get into champ select, everything is fine. But, upon loading in the game, I just get a black screen, and after waiting a few minutes, an error pops up saying something along the lines of "Error connecting to the servers, check your internet connection and try again." This was a little weird, as my internet connection was fine. I had to reset my internet twice before I got in game. Everything was okay for a while, until I get my first bugsplat.

This was quite scary for me, since the last time I've had a bugsplat was so long ago I don't even remember. I load back in quickly and explain to my team what happened. However, this problem persisted throughout the entire length of the game, making it nearly unplayable.

I got bugsplatted FIVE times that game... you can assume who won. I noticed that 2 of the times it happened, it involved a Thunderlord's Decree being procced near me. It never happened when I procced it, and it didn't necessarily happen when proccing on me, just anyone's thunderlord's proccing that I saw.

The fact that this problem has never happened before is a little concerning. Considering my internet and computer are fine, I have come to the belief that it's the servers or something about today's update that is causing this to happen. I am now not able to play league in fear of me continuing to crash and maybe get LeaverBuster.

A few things to note:

• I was (supposedly) the only one having this problem
• My ping was fine throughout both games, only a little higher than normal during my first game
• Unless I'm mistaken, the fact that all 5 times I've crashed were bugsplats means that it's something with the server
• I've already updated to patch 7.6, and I'm not really sure what the update that I downloaded today was for

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, I really hope I don't want to wait for a fix or patch that could take who knows how long to be able to play again.
