League of Legends AFK Punishment Bug

So today I logged on to league, I joined a bot game to try out the new warwick, guess what, my game crashes, then the game says I have to get my files scanned, I "Patiently" waited until it was over and guess what, the game was over and I get a freaking punishment for this. Now before you say this is fair, it isn't, basically, League is punishing me for the fact that its game is unreliable and crashes. so how fair is this again?
