sion polymorphed while in the middle of q

was playing an aram a few minutes ago and i found myself up against a lulu which polymorphed me when my q was about to finish then i died right after polymorph was gone then i went into the passive of sion. when i respawned i found that i could not use my q or my r abilities unless my passive ability was active. i tried switching keys and auto bindings but nothing happened. ether its a bug with sion or a but with polymorph. I havent quite figured that out out.
