"Leaving" the Game

Hello. I haven't played League of Legends in a while and the new format is kind of overwhelming. So I have been looking at it constantly to make sure what's set and where everything is. The problem I have with this, though, is the suppose 'leaving' I'm doing whenever I do this. When I'm in the champion selection screen and it isn't my turn to do something, but the time runs out (for example, the enemy summoner banning someone) and you are on the settings, you are kicked off the game and marked as a leave. Another incident that happened is when we were done picking and we are getting ready for the game. When I was Lulu and I wanted to switch my masteries in order to test something out, I clicked save and when the time expires, the game ended and it showed that I 'left' the game. Has anyone been getting this type of bug because... it is happening constantly and the suppose 'leaving' I'm doing is nothing more, but looking at something or changing something, not leaving intentionally.
