Skin Booster Doesn't Work For Katarina?

I played an ARAM game as Katarina and i skin boosted my team because I felt nice, however when I did it wouldn't let me select a skin as it was continuously stuck on "Processing" making me wonder if it would actually work or if it had just eaten my money, when I got to the loading screen I saw that everyone on my team had a skin but me?

2 games later another Katerina is on the opposite team to me and they had skin boosted, and yet Katerina was the only person without a skin? Maybe they forgot to select a skin or maybe they got stuck on the same problem I had? They wouldn’t respond when I tried speaking to them?
