After patch 6.16 some of my permanent wards from Hextech crafting disappeared. I checked the shop and It says I own the Firecracker ward skin, but I can't select it in champion selection. In total I have 4 ward skins besides the default one, and I can only select 2, the other 2 are gone as I said.

I am really sorry that you are being impacted by it, but let me reassure you that your wards are there and you wont loose them. As soon as I have any updates I will let you know.

I had this same problem except its with the ward skins that i bought not the ones i got from hextech
I'm missing a ward skin too since the patch. Any ETA on the fix?

Hey guys if u still have this problem, go make a custom game and it shouldnt be blank there. Just change to whatever ward you want and just quit out of the champ select then even if you cant see it in ranked, the ward you want will be there. until Riot fixes it.
