League Crashed and and would not let me re join after restarting....

Me and the person I was qued up with were about to go in on pantheon in the mid lane and then as soon as my buddy came out of the bush for the gank, we both got a reconnection sign. so we restarted after waiting for a minute or two and it did not say to rejoin our game, only to play anything else again like nothing had happened. I just checked on LOLKING and checked if I was still in game and it said that the game I was in was still active so ...... pls help.
