Bugsplat hack?

So today i was playing a ranked game with my friend, and we started really well and we were like 15 kills ahead and 3 towers ahead then our whole team got bugsplat, BUT the enemy team did not. Our whole team was afk for like 3-5 minutes and they managed to catch up and actually turn the game around.
