Frost Queen not giving gold for shaco's jack in the box

When playing Shaco (on ARAM) I got frost queen's claim, and with shaco's jack in the box, it no longer gives gold when it hits a champion. I kept it the entire game to see if it would work, and it didn't give it a single time the whole game. It would reward gold for his shiv, but ignored the jack in the box damage to champs.
