Kog'Maw's W dealing TRUE damage instead of MAGIC damage

At first I thought maybe it was a bug on the death report. Every time Kog'Maw killed me it said he was doing true damage from his Bioarcane Barrage, but as you can see from his damage dealt to champions he did over 7k true damage to champions that game compare that to vayne (who I yield was bad) only dealing 1.5k true damage or my shyvana dealing 1k true damage.

Definitely busted if this interaction is with more than just Shyvana.

If you're going by the death recap stating that his W was dealing true damage, that is known to be really buggy and unreliable. It's quite likely that it was moving the damage from his smite enchantment to his W.

As for the post game stats, Kog'Maw's smite enchantment plus his passive can add up to a lot of true damage, especially if his passive hits multiple champions. I mean, at max rank Kog's passive deals 550 true damage, so hitting just 2 champions with it will deal 1100 true damage for him.
