[GAMEPLAY] Vi Ult not working after death during ult

I recently played a game as vi in Solo Queue and noticed near the end of the game after I died mid ult that I was unable to use it at all. Possible bug? I'm almost certain that it happened during casting time, but that brief split second after casting it and before it goes on cooldown. It was off cooldown when I respawned but I was completely unable to use it. Anyone else have this issue?
