Unable to connect to loading screen nor connect to the game after loading screen

So the title says it all.

I started a game with a few friends and everything is fine during the champ select then for some reason it just takes me to the "reconnect" screen with the button at the center of the client, you know, during a game when u disconnect.

I restarted my client, nothing. I Ended the process tree, nothing. I restarted my pc, nothing.

Just this morning before the patch everything was fine.

Now the question is what exactly did they do that is causing this and how do I fix it.

My friends had to remake twice and because of that now I even have a leavebuster penalty which RIot of course will take no participation into removing it.
