Stuck on Level 7 Free Top Champion Select Screen

Hi guys,

My Oceania friend recently got a League of Legends account and they can't post because I assume they're too low a level, so I'm posting for them. I've seen a few posts with a similar issue brought up around 3 weeks ago, but nothing helped, and it seems Riot hasn't fixed the issue.

Upon reaching Level 7 after an ARAM game, they're brought up with the prompt to pick a top lane champion between Illaoi, Riven and Garen. However the screen seems to be glitched, as when you move your mouse to hover over the 'Select' option, the option disappears. We've tried quickly moving the mouse, closing+opening at least 5 times, restarting the computer-nothing has helped. You can't exit the screen, go to any other menu items, or do ANYTHING else. They're essentially stuck at the prompt, unable to select a champion, and unable to keep playing the game.

It's disappointing to see Riot hasn't fixed this problem since I've seen it pop up a few weeks ago, but hopefully my post brings it to light again? None of the previous suggestions helped and I'd love for my friend to actually be able to play the game, since there's no way of leaving this screen without selecting a champion!
