Sion Passive "Body" Granting Full Kill Gold

Just played against a Sion (live) and I noticed that sometimes upon killing him in his post-death passive form I would be granted full kill gold a second time. I don't remember if the numbers were exactly the same on both kills, but in the instances where it happened I received a bonus 300 and 274 gold.
