Friendly champion mana bar on/near minimap

When in game, instead of friendly champions' manabars showing with their icon on the team frames, they will occasionally appear on, or near, the minimap. Based on some googling, I found a suggestion that it only occurs when they have Manaflow Band ready. I have switched my team frames from displaying on left, to above the minimap, and the fault is no longer present. This image shows the fault (all 4 friendly champions have manflow band ready) This image shows the team frames above the minimap, with no fault. Screenshots were taken in same game, only change the "Show team frames on left" option. The error appears to be 100% consistent, providing an ally has Manaflow Band.
