dark harvest bug with spell shields

Well first of all karthus r'd me and i spell shield his r i was like hell yeah dude i am alive but somehow i died . like yo i ain't blind i am sure i pressed on the right time and yummi was like u pressed it too early. So when we finished the game i went to record the game and i found out that i spell shield it at the right time and in the video u can hear the voice line of sivir "Nice try" sivir says "nice try" when she blocks abilities so how and why i died from karthus. well if someone can figure it out it will be nice :p

you died from dark harvest proc not the R ?

I've seen Dark Harvest proc on attacks that I fully blocked with my shield. It's bugged.

Damaging a Champion below 50% health deals adaptive damage...

But actually doing damage is not, in fact, necessary.

It's a bug due to poor coding conditions I think : Dark Harvest : Checks if it is cast with a damaging ability or auto attack on enemy champion below threshold. Dark Harvest is also treated as a separate ability rather than combination with the damaging ability.

Karthus R debuff is cast Sivir E activates Checking for Damage Dark Harvest Application? Sivir is below threshold so true. Both Karthus R and Dark Harvest hit on Sivir. Sivir E blocks Karthus R Sivir dies to Dark Harvest

How to fix? Have another checker for AFTER the damaging ability is applied for the Dark Harvest's application since "Damaging a champion below X" means to actually have damage pass through rather than just bind it to a damaging ability and checking for the threshold.
