Missions NOT working

i have played 3 games and won 2 games but never got the "first win of the day mission" nor the "prepare for the journey (1 of 2)" even after winning. the missions have been working fine. and the problem started this week so i am assuming the patch on Wednesday. its been 2 says since i have won (i know i am bad) so my missions have been reset for sure.

also, if it helps, i am on mac client and the missions load after 8 seconds of logging in to the client.

on the side note, i have aqua-blue bars on my minimap which appear at random places, usually 1 to 2 on each side of the map.

if anyone can help me that would be great.
