[CRASH] MAC CLIENT: unable to load into games

I'm unable to load into games running on the MAC client. I have been running the game using the newest OS X Yosemite for about 2 weeks with no problem, until now. I AM able to log in and go through game queue AND champ select, but as soon as it's time to load in, it crashes. Black screen and nothing until i alt+tab out to see a reconnect button. I have tried reconnecting after my friends have loaded in and still nothing. I have tried reinstalling the game TWICE, nothing. I have tried to repair any bad files, and still no luck. I am unable to revert back to OS X Mavericks to see if this might fix the issue, and i doubt it's an OS issue because i wasn't having a problem with it until yesterday.

I'm curious to know if any other MAC users are having the same issue and what OS you're currently running.

Same here guys.. I didn't fine any solution, seems like it's a patch problem. I'm so mad, i just finished my exams and can't play !

I have almost the exact same problem, except during the black screen after champ select, I can't even alt-tab out, and clicking produces that annoying beep that indicates an error. I have to restart the computer entirely to get rid of it, and when I try to reconnect, the exact same thing happens.

I started having this problem at probably the EXACT same time you did, or at least very close. It has been an off and on problem for months now that happens every few weeks its seems and lasts a few days.

It has been concluded that this IS a problem WITHIN riot and has nothing to do with your network/computer.

One thing that worked a few months ago (but not now) is changing your network from WEP to WPA/WPA2 and vice versa. Doesnt work for me now tho

Yep, same problem here. I felt sorry for the team I joined being left to a 4v5, and then I felt sorry for myself with all the reports I got... It's pretty obnoxious
