Azir (q-e) (e-q) bug [Gameplay]

I've played several games as Azir now, and I have not been able to dash to my soldier properly. Maybe one out of 6 times i'll be able to dash to my soldier. Usually, I'll spring up a soldier, q him as far away as I can, and then try to e. The only time his dash has ever worked is when I waited 2-3 seconds before jumping to the soldier. Other instances, if I e immediately, Azir will wither walk to the soldier or he will not do anything at all. The bug is really annoying when i'm trying to get across the map quickly, escape, or initiate a fight, please fix :(
