Today in a game, I tried to QSS Illaio's E immediately after getting my soul pulled. Nonetheless, it didn't work. Shouldn't 2 debuffs be applied? One before your soul dies, and then one afterwards? On the side note, the "Vessel" debuff should be nerfed, it's arguably the most annoying debuff in the game (A 30-60 second CC).
You can only qss disables not debuffs.

Sorta bullshit how the cooldown is lower than the debuff duration. And also, why do the tentacles have a stupidly high AD ratio?
I'm pretty sure it's intended to not remove the "spirit" that's pulled. If you look at your buff/debuff bar above your abilities, you'll notice that nothing shows up when a spirit is pulled from you, so there's no actual debuff for QSS to remove.
Imo it should work similarly to Zed's ult. You can QSS Zed's ult before the damage effect goes off.
