Today in a game, I tried to QSS Illaio's E immediately after getting my soul pulled. Nonetheless, it didn't work. Shouldn't 2 debuffs be applied? One before your soul dies, and then one afterwards? On the side note, the "Vessel" debuff should be nerfed, it's arguably the most annoying debuff in the game (A 30-60 second CC).

You should read the tool tip. The active removes all debuffs, not just disables.

Because they autotarget, it's not even illaoi, so she can't anticipate your movement. In theory, the only tentacle that could touch you (and it's an awfully slow short range skillshot) is her Q. The remaining of her damage is her opponent mistake as it is impossible to hit if he pay attention to the tentacles.
Zombiemaster1 votesI'm pretty sure it's intended to not remove the "spirit" that's pulled. If you look at your buff/debuff bar above your abilities, you'll notice that nothing shows up when a spirit is pulled from you, so there's no actual debuff for QSS to remove.
