Ever since 9.18, my game crashes after champ select in the client and no longer loads into the game. Tested in normals and practice tool multiple times and can not load into either game modes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and ran the hextech repair tool.
Update: Updating RTSS fixed the crashes and turned out league doesn't like third party software all that much
Update to the same problem that I was having. I was having a problem with the Nvidia Graphics Controller not working well with the client. Basically anytime I run 3 screens I have to restart the computer after unplugging the 3rd screen in order to play. I was having this problem before but I unplugged the 3rd screen before launching league and didn't know I had to restart as well.
While this solution may not directly help you, I have a hunch that it is again either Graphics card related [as some claim AMD is getting bodied by this game] or Graphics Card/Monitor issues. So if you are running more than 1 screen I recommend trying to unplug one, reload and try to play league. If you are running more than 1 screen and are also trying to stream it, I recommend trying to first not stream>restart computer>try the game w/o streaming. If it doesn't work still then 1 screen might work while streaming.
I run 3 to show my main monitor to visitors and my young family members so they can enjoy some programs or watch me play minecraft. Unplugging the 3rd made my usual dual screen setup work again, and let the client load practice tool up.
