No inGame sound

So I just finished my placement games for ranked, and on my first game after that I lost all sound once the Rift opened up. I had sound through champion select, and as soon as the game was over I had sound again in the after game screen, but while the game itself was ongoing I had zero sound. No music, no audio queues for abilities (or anything else), no ping sounds. This seemed really weird, so i was wondering if anyone knew why that may have happened. I was playing as Caitlyn, and she just underwent some changes and was disabled for a few days, so maybe there is some weird bug left over from that?
