Game Keeps Crashing after Champion Select 6.21/6.22

[CRASH] - During loading the game crashes

I run League of Legends on my Mac. Recently, in the past 2 or 3 weeks, the game keeps crashing once the game launches and I am about to get to play. I am able to log on, get all the way to champion select and then once it is time to load the game, my screen goes black and all I can see is my cursor. This is really affecting me because I figured it might just be something that happened once and then it occurred every time I attempted to play which then of course got me flagged as AFK.

I waited until after the 6.22 update to try playing again and it's doing the same thing. Please let me know if it is something with my machine or maybe something with a bug in the game. I don't know if others are having the same problem but it is keeping me from playing.
