Bots in 3s?

I've played some games in 3s were there will be bots in the game. Yes, I picked PvP but still bots are showing up in my games. The weird thing is is they have normal player names, but they never say anything and play exactly like low level bots (running right through minions to fight you and lose, I'm attacking the tower while they're standing next to it and do nothing, they only go bottom, etc.). They always pick Ghost and Heal so you can tell they're bots right off the bat. Also when I search their summoner names their profile shows they don't have any runes or masteries, yet they're level 30. There's no way they aren't bots, but what is going on? I wanna play normal 3s, but instead it's either the easiest game ever since the team has 2 of these bots, or I automatically lose 'cause I have bots on my team. It's weird, but I haven't seen anything on the forums.

Anybody have an answer to this?

I played a game last night where i was the only human player on BOTH TEAMS! -.- I clicked 'pvp' and i got set up with bots. They dont even do anything but run and auto attack, its ruining the game and its extremely frustrating. Late night 3v3 is unplayable. So mad. Riot please recognize this problem...

Yeah! I've been playing for almost a year now, playing 3v3 almost exclusively and I've just started experiencing this problem with Bots within the past week or two.. I don't know what's up? Can't believe there aren't more posts about this, as it really ruins the whole experience. So hard to waste 15-30 minutes playing a game when one (or even two sometimes) of your teammates just consistently runs straight into fights the entire game, and never runs. Last game the jax bot went 0/18/0... Not only do you only have 2 v 3, but the other game gets fed so quick. that it's hopeless to play... and you can't even surrender, as the bot will never actually select to surrender. Can't keep playing like this, every game that happens to have a bot feels like a complete waste of time. PLEASE HELP RIOT! ;( plzzz

There have been lately, farming for ip is my guess. The last few weeks now. Hopefully riot figures out how to stop them soon, ideally ip banning them and/or possibly linking to other accounts and penalizing them too.

They are flooding ARAM as well. I just played a game with a friend and we were the only two human players on our team. The "bots" acted the same as you described, only, on ARAM. They also kept going back to the base as if to regenerate and buy items, when everyone knows you can't do so in ARAM. After the match, I looked at all of the profiles: All level 30, all blank rune pages & masteries. It really ruins the game when you can't communicate with your team or make new friends because they are all Bots. I hope riot fixes this soon too.

So many people say that Riot has no control or cannot do anything about this, but this is not true. I do web programming and it's essentially the same as video game programming in some perspectives. Here's what Riot has to do that is not hard and can prevent these issues from occurring.

Create a program that recognizes algorithms based on the player skill choices, avatar, play style, power usage, and/or items purchased.
- It is to my knowledge of frustrating experiences with these bots that they continuously auto-attack without using skills, use particular starter avatars/skills, and purchase the same items frequently.
Allow the program to prompt this player during a game to respond. If this player does not respond then they will be kicked from the match and a Riot bot can take over.
- Speaking from experience, as before, If you surrender with these bots in your team, they are not programmed to respond and it would be difficult for any programmer to make this possible without constant surveillance of the computer. It would be ideal to make this so that if the player gets prompted more than 3 times within a week time, they would be banned permanently.
- Although we would not like a Riot bot to take over, this is still more optimal than a player made bot. Plus the Scam artist doesn't get credit for the win/loss.

These tips would only make sense and I hope that a Riot Developer sees this post as important feedback.

I just came back to LoL after about a year or so break. And either the bot problem came back, or it was never fixed in the first place. Uninstalling the game until this issue is gone.

Report the player in any appropriate category and move on. Riot is working on it but they're taking a year to actually fix it.

btw I made a really good thread about all of this, broke no rules and had my thread removed without reason or any rioter talking to me at all, its to the point that my friend is paranoid that Riot is doing it themselves for extra cash (selling accounts) or pushing players out of the game mode, who knows.

paranoia, but I mean, with zero response rate what else can people think?...

The answer is that they are controlled by a program that people buy on the internet to run play the game while they afk so they can level up their champions. Riot knows about it, but isn't doing or saying anything. Shame on you, Riot!

I have the same problems. I kept typing random things like "Hi, how are we" they don't answer. However I've realised they are bot by their name and skills, there name are connected which is strange it always start of with a capital letter then lower case as you can see in this link http://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/1904267375/33839109?tab=overview I should of die a lot however not even once due to my lack of skills I always lose. Hope someone will find a solution for this
