Beta Client Bug

I have been having a significant issue with the beta client that has made it impossible to play League of Legends. This has to do with the champion select screen; I am unable to properly select a champion during any phase as the champions simply do not load for me. Now, I recognize that this could be an issue with my computer itself as it is only a basic HP 15 laptop that was not meant for gaming, however, regardless of whether or not my computer is meant to game, I have been able to effectively play with the old client. If this does happen to be an issue with my laptop, then I would wish to suggest that the quality of the new client be lowered in an effort to keep in mind computers that have less capabilities for graphics. If any further information is needed such as a dxdiag report, then I can provide it at a later time.
