rabadon's deathcap passive does not work about 50% of the time. it seems to me that the passive never kicks in when i look at how much ap the passive should be going me is says +ap(0) and once in a while when i buy it after i have aobut 400+ap it gives me like +20ap from the passive im not sure why this is happing but i dont buy cap anymore in my games because the risk of it not working is to much in terms of gold use + time or re-sell when i find out its not working

I think it's just a tooltip bug.

As Veigar my 3rd item is Deathcap after morellos, and before I have deathcap I have about 500ish ap, once I buy Dcap it automatically goes to 750+ So I'm 99% on it being a tooltip bug

It's a tooltip bug acknowledged by Riot it can be seen over here

No idea why this thread doesn't exist on the NA boards though.

I noticed this too. I was playing as Cass this morning, and had 630 AP with 500 stacks on my passive. Then I finished my Deathcap and had 650 AP... I think I will be avoiding it until we receive some confirmation from Riot

It has to be bugged. On Cass, I finish my core items (SE, Rab, Zhonya's, working on Luden's) at 500 stacks and I barely scrape past 600.

I've had multiple games on Veigar where after I buy another item past the deathcap that my ap will fluctuate between numbers and settle on a number lower than where I started before buying the next item. I remember one game I had a 200 ap drop after buying an item past having DCap. Something is definitely wrong with the item, or Veigar that makes the ap calculations all messed up

I did a game as Akali and when I obtained deathcap, it indicated I had 0 bonus ap from passive, Not sure if it's tool tip or if the item's passive is not working properly. My guess is second since in a game as Kat, had no issues. Could be hit/miss for each game.

Not sure what happened to Deathcap. I noticed it stopped working reliably in the recent patches.

Deathcap has not worked at all in the last 2 patch updates. In every game I've gotten 0 ap bonus from it. I've tried to run a repair and it still doesn't work. Not really sure what else to do
