Sona - Short 1s lagspike after first time hitting Q

So me and my friends are having this wierd problem with Sona. The thing is, every game when I first hit my Q on an Enemy, suddenly everyone gets a 1 second long lagspike. After that everything is fine, but i wonder why that happens.
