Screen flashing/flickering [CRASH]
Basically, whenever I try to play league I have this issue of my screen flickering whenever I try to play a game. This occurs both in the loading screen and in game and makes it unplayable (Scroll down for video of bug and if you want a TL;DR).
Unfortunately, I updated my computer to the fall creator's update (Windows 10) at the same time that Season 8 and the new runes rolled in, so I cannot pinpoint which one caused the problem.
However, I have noticed something strange. I have two different monitors, a 1400x900 Dell monitor and a 1920x1080 Acer monitor, both plugged into a gtx 1060 6gb with an Intel i5-3570K. I normally play on the Acer as it is a higher resolution, and I first noticed this bug on that monitor. After playing a few customs and trying to see if the problem would keep happening (It did), I switched to my second monitor by setting it to the main display in the Display settings page (Accessed by right clicking on desktop).
I played for about 5 minutes on the Dell monitor to make sure it was working (It was) and then quit and tried relaunching on my Acer monitor (Higher res), but I got the same weird flickering issue.
After that, I tried switching monitors while still in game. To do this, I set my main display to be the Dell (Lower res), launched the custom game, then hit Alt-Tab and tabbed out to my desktop. I right clicked the desktop, clicked display settings, the set the Acer (High res) as my main display, and it sort of worked.
What ended up happening was that the resolution stayed the same but shifted over to the bigger monitor (Acer), leaving a border along the bottom and right side of the Acer monitor that just showed my desktop and the 1400x900 league window in the top left corner. I quit the game, started a new one, and launched it again on the Acer monitor and it worked! But, it was quite distorted as it was still 1400x900, but just stretched across the larger screen.
Lastly, and this is what concerns me the most, I encountered this problem in one other game. Recently I have played Guild Wars 2, Super Hot, and Darkest Dungeon, all with no problems. However, when I tried launching Age of Mythology Extended Edition, I had the same problem. However, I recently re-installed my graphics card drivers trying to fix this problem and I ended up downloading a software called "Gefore experience", which adds an overlay to all of your games. Even with the weird flickering screen, I got the popup that said to hit Alt + Z to open the overlay, which I hit pretty much without thinking. To my surprise, it opened the overlay and behind it I could see the game working perfectly. I hit Alt + Z again to close it and the game worked perfectly for the next hour that I played it.
I went back to League and tried hitting Alt + Z while in game, but it just tabbed me out to my desktop and then opened the overlay. I tried tabbing back into league, but the flickering problem remained.
So this is all of the troubleshooting I have done so far. I don't really know where to go from here, and the fact that all of my games work except for Age of Mythology and League makes me think that there was some service (Direct X 12 for example, but probably not that) that is shared by both games that was affected by the Windows Update, but I have no real conclusive evidence either way. If there are any other troubleshooting steps I can take to provide more information, let me know and I will do them right away.

TL;DR - Screen flickers causing game to be unplayable on large monitor, but not small monitor.
