I was playing vi (ARAM) and when my team decided to go in, i ulted yi, and the instant he used alpha strike my ult canceled and went on full cool-down. Not sure if this is a bug, but it sure was annoying that yi can just q to cancel an ult.
Yeah they need to fix his Q. This is like Fiora's Riposte except it doesn't say in the tooltip for Q that it makes him immune to everything.

Yi is untargettable when he does Q, ( you can't even see him in the map for ~1 sec) . In short your ult might have not connected and went on full CD. It's pretty common with lot of other champs wasting their ult.
