Ranked Champion Selection Lock In Bug [CLIENT]

I was in a ranked champion selection screen one game where I picked a champion, then grayed out the lock in button, preventing me from locking in. The timer ran out and I had my selection, so it was fine.

However, the next game, it became my turn to pick (still in ranked solo queue) and instead of letting me select a champion, it automatically locked me in with no champion selected. I could not retroactively select a champion, and when the timer ran out, I was removed from the game and given a timer for dodging queue.

I wish I took a screenshot, but this occurred at about 12:54 AM on Sunday, August 30, if that gives any help in finding any clues.

I was typing when it became my turn to select a champion, but cannot say if that was the case the first time. I can't tell whether or not there's a correlation there, but figure it may be pertinent information.
