CTRL key getting locked in-game

So I've been looking for a fix for this Three-year-old bug I can't find anything, to my surprise this old as hell forum page that got shut down describes exactly how it is happening to me. Really looking for a fix cause I got into a ranked game and couldn't play so I afk'd and got reported by everyone. Anything Helps! Thanks!
