a way around the item set bug?

My item set has been broken for a month and one week (it was slightly broken before as i was never able to drag them into order, they automatically go in the front), I've gained knowledge that this bug (unable to drag items into the build) seems to be a mac based problem but nothing seemed to work. I am reluctant to uninstall the game since it is not a game breaking problem, but what is the point of a service (the item set maker) if the service doesn't work. I know right clicking the items takes it away from the build, and this works for me; is there a way for me to not drag the items into my build? (i think dragging is bugged for me). something such as clicking some key?
