Brand Ult Fizzles out when Xayah ults although it is not inteded to

Like the title says, Brand's ult will fizzle out instead of bouncing if Xayah ults while the projectile is going to her. http://puu.sh/zdvpU/56ac937179.png As you can see from that image, it is not intended behavior as it was previously changed so that things like Zhonya/Fizz E would not completely nullify the ability. Discovered this playing a ranked game where my ult (as Brand) would keep fizzling vs the enemy Xayah. I have not tried to reproduce/have video evidence but it happened multiple times in the game so I decided to report it here. Very easy to replicate if someone has the time to though.
