Daily play rewards not unlocking champions

The home screen says I "unlock a new champion". I do not get champion =/

Go to loot, then under the champions tab you'll find your champions. Click on them and unlock permanently.

Same happened... I clicked the reward and went to loot. It was not there under champions. Where can I find it?
