Messenger in League of Legends glitches out and doesn't close once opened.

When I got on League today I was trying to send a message to a friend on league.However, the message did not go through and when i tried to close the messenger it did not close.After this I restarted the client and got back on trying to message the friend again. But the bug occurred again where the message was not able to go through and I could not close the messenger tab.I have a video that i took on my iphone for proof.This bug is quite annoying as i accidentally had to dodge a ranked match since i couldn't click the ban button which was overlapped by the messenger tab.
