Client counts down to zero, can't lock in, but chat still works.

I join ranked queue with my duo, we're on the same network, and my client counts down to zero, but it doesn't switch to the next people up for selection. It stays at 0 until it basically doesn't let me lock in my champion. This causes me to lose LP. We can still use chat the whole time during the champion select. We have matching LP, so my duo has to join and quit a queue to even us out in LP. So we each lose a small amount of LP and wait 5+ min for a timer.
