[CLIENT] "Crafting Failed" bug consumed my Hextech Chest without me getting anything?

I got a chest from an S rank about 10 minutes ago and I've been having strange crafting bugs today. A champion capsule that I opened took 4 attempts that all gave me errors, but eventually they gave me the contents (the champ shards also took multiple attempts to disenchant).

But when I opened the chest, the unboxing animation played and then showed me nothing. After about 5 seconds it came up with the Hextech Crafting error. After doing this another 3 times, I restarted the client and found the chest missing from my inventory, without giving me any skin or champion shards. There were no notifications for new items under wards or icons either. No sign of loot from the chest.

I'm not sure if this is reproducable, but the crafting system seems to be bugged in general today.

Needless to say I'm a little annoyed, I always look forward to getting my next chest and this is really dissapointing. Can someone help with this?
