Launcher bug please help

I opened my launcher today expecting a quick response as always when suddenly it started patching. Sometimes it does that but instantly shows the launch button. Today it stayed on 0% with the message "Applying patches", if I close it it displays a BugSplat window. This has happened around 20 times in a row in the past hour. I am freaking out. Update: it finally started doing something.
