[GAMEPLAY] Varus Q Disabled For Remainder of Game
I was playing as Varus the other day and Q suddenly stopped working. I couldn't click the button in the interface or hit it on my keyboard even though the icon showed it should be active (it was not greyed out) and a click sound occurred on tapping it.
Upon logging out of the game and coming back in, this issue cleared up which seems to indicate a client error rather than a server problem.
I do not know the precise conditions that caused this to occur, so the following is my theory:
(possible, not verified) REPRODUCTION:
- Choose Varus and enter a game.
- Begin charging Q.
- At some point during this process, have yourself killed. This could be a subtle timing thing, so try being killed the moment you press Q, after you've charged a little, after you've charged a lot, and while the projectile is in the air. Hopefully one of these conditions will result in the issue.
- After respawning observe pressing Q or clicking the Q skill button will not begin charging your arrow like it should.
Work-Arounds: Quit the match, and then reconnect. Restarting the league game client seems to fix the issue.
