I get the BSOD after this new patch and only when I play League

this is the third time out of 4 games where I get BSOD whenever I play league (I was also in a ranked game when it happened the first time, so that really hurt). I was wondering if its to do with the most recent patch and if there will be a smaller one to fix this problem?
